Kerry Anders played for the MSSU football team from 1972-75. He led the team in receptions in 1975 and 1975 and in scoring in 1973 with 8 touchdowns. He also led the team in kickoff return average in 1972 and 73 and in punt return average from 72-75. He was a member of the 1972 National Championship team catching a 58-yard touchdown pass from Ray Harding in that game. He ranks seventh all-time in single-season punt return average, while ranking sixth in career receiving yardage with 1,736. He was a first-team All-District and honorable mention All-American selection in 1975.
